1. Who we are
1828 Couture ("we", "us", "the site") is an independent, buyer-side price-intelligence service for pre-owned luxury handbags, founded and operated by Monica Ho in Singapore. Contact: [email protected].
2. What our information is — and isn't
The prices, ranges, medians, and trends on this site are observations of asking prices in the live market, presented for general information. They are not appraisals, valuations, guarantees of resale value, or financial, investment, or purchasing advice. Markets move, listings change, and any figure may be out of date the moment after you read it. Decisions to buy, sell, list, or negotiate are yours alone.
3. No authentication guarantee
We are not an authentication service and do not physically inspect any bag. Where a marketplace offers its own authentication or guarantee programme, that is the marketplace's undertaking, on its terms — not ours. Always do your own due diligence before purchasing.
4. Third-party listings & links
Listings, prices, images, and links come from third-party marketplaces and sellers. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their accuracy, availability, or the conduct of any seller. Some links are affiliate links — see our affiliate disclosure. Your dealings with any marketplace or seller are solely between you and them.
5. Acceptable use
You may use the site for your own personal, non-commercial research. You may not scrape, bulk-download, resell, or systematically copy our index or content; interfere with the site's operation; or use it to break any law or any third-party's rights. Automated access without our written permission is not allowed.
6. Intellectual property
The site's design, text, and original price index are ours or our licensors' and are protected by law. Brand names, model names, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and commentary only; their use here does not imply any affiliation or endorsement.
7. No warranty
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. We don't warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from your reliance on information here or from any purchase you make through a third party. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Changes
We may update these terms as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
